Behaviour Support 4 kids is an Adelaide based, independent, NDIS registered provider of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) services for children and their families who are experiencing challenging behaviours.
Positive behaviour support is a person-centred framework for providing support in situations where there are challenging behaviours. Some behaviours are considered challenging as it challenges everyone who supports the child to understand why it is happening.
NDIS Tailored Support plans
At Behaviour Support 4 kids we understand that challenging behaviour occurs for a reason and communicates important information about a child’s stress, distress and skill development.
Through understanding the purpose or reason (this is known as the function) of these behaviors, Behaviour Support 4 Kids can help children, families, educators and support workers to develop strategies which will help reduce the likelihood and intensity of these challenging behaviours. This will assist children to improve their quality of life and achieve the goals that matter most to them.
These plans may include Restricted Practices. Our Behaviour Support specialists are skilled in assisting families reduce or eliminate restrictive practices and develop fade out plans to manage ‘challenging’ behaviour.
We offer tele-health and mobile support at home, school, preschools and Community settings.
We are responsible for assessing, designing, evaluating, implementing, and monitoring Behaviour support plans and interventions for individuals.
